Fitness Classes & Sports Programs

The Laurel Community Center Organization was formerly known as Laurel Elementary School up until its closure in 2016. Kids from all of the rural Laurel communities were once brought together here for educational purposes as well as sports and recreational activities. We are working hard to recreate a place for sports and recreational activities to remerge in our community. We want this to be a space not just for kids, but for people of all ages and from all walks of life to come together and reap the benefits that physical activities bring.

The Laurel Community Center has a full-sized indoor gymnasium with the ability to host events of all types, including basketball and volleyball. Aside from all the indoor gymnasium potential, there are also endless possibilities with the outdoor baseball/softball complex. In 2024, the field will be renovated so that it can be used to community together with baseball and softball games for people of all ages.

With our current infrastructure, we are already taking major steps in bringing recreational activities back to our campus. Below are some of our current fitness and sports offerings.
